Configuring Salesforce Reports and View Layouts for RIngio

YOU CAN CHANGE THE VIEW LAYOUTS BY ADDING/REMOVING COMPONENTS AS FOLLOWS:

 

  1. Login to Salesforce

  2. Click on 'Setup'

  3. Select 'Customize' on the left side bar

  4. Choose 'Activities' 

  5. click on 'Task Page Layout''

  • Let's say you want to add 'Call Duration' component to your view layout.
  1. Drag 'Call Duration' into 'Task Information' section.

  2. Hit 'Save'

Now once you click on the call information in 'Activity History' you will see that 'Call Duration' component is added to your view layout.

FOR CREATING REPORTS, FOLLOW THE STEPS BELOW:

 

  1. Login to Salesforce

  2. Click on 'Reports'

  3. Select 'New Report...' 

  4. Choose 'Tasks and Events' in 'Activities'  folder

  5. click on 'Create'

  6. There you can 'Add' any 'Filters' that you want and click 'OK'

  • You will see the result of the report.
  1. Don't forget to 'Save' the report if it is what you need.
